Amaechi’s brother hospitalized after assault by hoodlooms

Rivers State Governor Rotimi Amaechi’s younger
brother was attacked  yesterday by machete-
wielding thugs in his home at the Igbinedion
University, Benin City, the Edo State capital.
Chidi Adi Amaechi sustained injuries on his head and
arms. He is presently being treated at an undisclosed
hospital.APC said it is
difficult to see the attack on the younger Amaechi
and other people with relationship to the party as
“mere coincidence”.
It described the attack on the governor’s brother
as “freaky" and claims it has strong reasons to believe that the attack was politically motivated
