A ghastly two bus crash along the Harare -Nyamapanda
highway has claimed at least 23 lives.
21 victims died on the spot while many others
were injured in the accident,
near the Harare-Mutoko tollgate.
The buses sideswiped each other in opposite
directions leading to serious damage.
It is believed that the accident involved Unifreight
and ZUPCO buses, with one going to Mutoko
while the other was headed for Harare.
According to eye witnesses, the accident was as a result of over speeding from both drivers of the two buses.
