Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti is being linked
with Louis van Gaal's job at Manchester United .
Marca says depending on how the season
Ends, Van Gaal could leave the club this
summer.
They also cite a link between United and Ancelotti
which goes back to the Sir Alex Ferguson era.
Sir Ferguson reportedly identified Ancelotti as his
ideal successor when he retired at the end of the
2012-13 season.
Ancelotti is under increased pressure at the
Bernabeu after his side crawled through to the
Champions League quarter-finals on Tuesday night.
Real players were booed off after losing the second leg
to Schalke and supporters waved handkerchiefs in
protest of their team's display.
