Two strangers get married on reality show in the UK

What kinda person agrees to marry a total stranger all because of some reality show?
Emma Rathbone, 32, and James Ord-Hume, 33, got married on a show, the couples in fact admitted that they weren't attracted to each and would never have exchanged words were they to meet anywhere. Now this is seventy shades of crazy.
Married at first sight is a TV reality show whereby the ‘matched’ couples commit to a legal civil ceremony, attend their own reception, complete with wedding breakfast, speeches and cake, then go on an all expenses paid honeymoon. On their return, they move in together and have five weeks to decide whether to stay married or to divorce.
The show has received quite a degree of criticism from relationship experts and has been branded as 'ridiculous, gimmick and a complete mockery of the institution of marriage'. Funny enough, a lot of people are signing up for this, whatever happened to love and romance?
