31 year old Argentine and Barcelona midfielder has not found the back of the net since 2008 where he scored a goal for Liverpool against English club, Readings.
Javier Mascherano hasn't scored a single goal since joining the Catalans from Liverpool in 2010. During an interview with Tyc sports, the Argentine said : "Leo has offered me many times to take a penalty and obviously I've said no, I honestly don't feel like it. I do not like to force things that don't correspond to me. The result should not change the obligations you have on the pitch. The person who takes penalties should be taking penalties."
